Proclamation of Nov 24, 2020By order of Duke Ari the First, neighboring states, such as the City of Los Angeles and City of Glendale, are advised that our principality should be referred to by its formal name, the "Duchy of Upper Hollywood", or the "DUH", in all official documents. When making reference to the geographical region we occupy in the San Fernando Valley, "Upper Hollywood", or "UpHo", may be used. The archaic terms, "North Hollywood", and "NoHo", while quaint, are strictly denigrated. And of course, when referring to the region South of us, on the other side of the hills, "Lower Hollywood", or "LoHo", convey its proper significance. At Our Drinking Establishment, in Our Duchy of Upper Hollywood, this twenty fourth day of November in the year of Our Lord two thousand and twenty, in the first year of Our Reign. GOD SAVE THE DUKE
